Water, the Elixir of life.

Water is the source of life for all being on earth. Every living being depend upon water and they are made up of water.

What is water ?

Well this is technical characteristic of it is as follows.
Density: 1,000 kg/m³
Molar mass: 18.01528 g/mol
Melting point: 32°F (0°C)
Formula: H2O

If you look at the periodic table and locate tellurium (atomic number: 52), you find that the boiling points of hydrides decrease as molecule size decreases. So the hydride for tellurium:H2Te (hydrogen telluride) has a boiling point of -4°C. Moving up, the next hydride would be H2Se (hydrogen selenide) with a boiling point of -42°C. One more up and you find that H2S (hydrogen sulfide) has a boiling point at -62°C. The next hydride would be H2O (WATER!). And we all know that the boiling point of water is 100°C. So despite its small molecular weight, water has an incredibly big boiling point. This is because water requires more energy to break its hydrogen bonds before it can then begin to boil. The same concept is applied to freezing point as well, as seen in the table below. The boiling and freezing points of water enable the molecules to be very slow to boil or freeze, this is important to the ecosystems living in water. If water was very easy to freeze or boil, drastic changes in the environment and so in oceans or lakes would cause all the organisms living in water to die. This is also why sweat is able to cool our bodies.

In the philosophical point of water is the alpha and Omega for the life in existence in this planet.
It is the most essential part of our life as humans. Water from each place has different qualities. For instance if you bath everyday in the water supplied from your city's Waterboard and compare it bathing at a waterfalls on your hiking trip. The water went it hits your head , you would feel refreshed and active.

The problem is there isn't much regulation in the water distribution industry. And the water distribution industry just fall their own rules and regulation. Imagine this the way we think and the way how we feel(tired or active) depends upon the cooperation which makes drinking water to us. They add and subtract the minerals and chemicals in such a way that the water tastes better or water tastes sweet, so that is what most people are concerned about. When we take the first sip what do we say, I liked that company's water because it tastes good. So all these manufacturer has to work on is to to make a water bottle that tastes good.

In bible,  water hold a key place like the blessing of water in the Easter Holy Mass every year. Jesus turns water to Wine at the wedding. 'John the Baptist', Gave baptism to Jesus with water on the river. Our Scriptures and our ancestors knew the important factors about water. In Islam as well it plays an important role, you have to wash your feet and hands before starting your prayer. It means you have cleanse yourself before presenting yourself to God.  In Hinduism the water from Ganges is considered as the Holy water and their rituals are not complete without the Holy water.

Through out many generations kingdoms have fallen and millions have been killed or displaced because of  water. If you think about it, our space telescopes have reached the farthest of the far planets and until none none of them have identified water in those planet.

Its Composition is very unique. It requires the exact temperature to make it life sustainable in earth. The marginal change in alternation is its properties could have varied consequences.

Water is the elixir of life. The properties of water make it suitable for organisms to survive in during differing weather conditions. Ice freezes as it expands, which explains why ice is able to float on liquid water. During the winter when lakes begin to freeze, the surface of the water freezes and then moves down toward deeper water; this explains why people can ice skate on or fall through a frozen lake. If ice was not able to float, the lake would freeze from the bottom up killing all ecosystems living in the lake. However ice floats, so the fish are able to survive under the surface of the ice during the winter. The surface of ice above a lake also shields lakes from the cold temperature outside and insulates the water beneath it, allowing the lake under the frozen ice to stay liquid and maintain a temperature adequate for the ecosystems living in the lake to survive.

Second Birth of Buddha ... Mulbekh, India

Situated 45 km from Kargil and 260 km from Leh in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, Mulbekh Monastery is famous for its two gompas and the nine mtr tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. The Mulbekh Monastery with its gompas stands on a peak above the Srinagar-Leh highway. The two gompas are of Drukpa (new Buddhist school) and Gelugpa (old Buddhist school). Another reason for Mulbekh Monastery’s fame is the 30 ft long limestone sculpture of Maitreya Buddha. Carved onto the rock face, the sculpture of standing Maitreya Buddha overlooks the National Highway 1D between Leh and Kargil. The sculpture measures nine meter from base to its top. Maitreyas is also known as Chamba so Mulbekh Monastery is popularly known as Mulbekh Chamba. Along with the nine meter tall Maitreya sculpture, there are many prized relics along with the statues and frescoes in the monastery. The rock sculpture is believed to have been carved by Ladakhi missionaries to propagate Buddhism. Though the rock sculpture repre...

Humanoid figure in sky

Zambian locals ran away in terror when they saw a strange human-like figure appear in the clouds above a shopping centre. The alleged apparition, which looked like a Dementor from the Harry Potter movies, was spotted above the Mukuba Mall in Kitwe. Photographs show a large humanoid head and torso, tailing into the sky and it is thought to have measured more than 100 metres (330ft) long.  The dense black shape looked like it was made from a different material from the clouds. From the angle of the photograph, it looks like the apparition was looking down on the shopping centre. The figure hung in the sky for about half an hour and some thought it was a manifestation of God.  A witness said: 'We were shocked to see images that looked like a human in the clouds for close to 30 minutes.  'Some started worshipping but others ran away. It was so strange.'

Amelia Dyer , a devil who lived in disguise

Amelia Dyer is believed to have murdered hundreds of babies during the 19th Century. Her crimes led to one of the most sensational trials of the period and shone a spotlight on the Victorian practice of "baby farming". How did a seemingly respectable woman stoop to such cruelty? On 30 March 1896, a parcel weighted down with a brick was fished out of the River Thames in Reading. Inside, swaddled in layers of linen, newspaper and brown paper, was the partially decomposed body of baby Helena Fry. White tape had been wound around her neck, with a knot under the left ear. It was a gruesome discovery, but one which would lead detectives to unravel the crimes of one of the 19th Century's most notorious child killers. Born in 1837 to a shoemaker in a small village in Bristol, Dyer had endured a tough childhood in which she was the main carer for her mentally ill mother. As an adult, she became a nurse. But, rather than use her skills to care for people, she embarked o...
